Serigraphs

Serigraphy is silk screening on paper, and defined as a "series of graphics". This word distinguishes "original graphics" from images mass-produced. Pam Schmacker creates a negative on a screen, and hand pulls ink across the screen with a squeegee. This process creates a positive on the paper below. Each color is also a separate step, along with the registration of each color.
